79th Independence Day Celebration

A Celebration of Artistry, Energy and Joy (Episode 3 Highlights)


                   

                                                                     St. Xavier’s Public School , Peechanikadu celebrated the 79th Independence Day with patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted in the school auditorium to mark the occasion. The programme began with a solemn prayer invoking blessings for the nation and its people. This was followed by an inspiring message from our manager, Rev. Fr. Dennis Mathew,  who addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of the day. The celebrations continued with a vibrant Fancy Dress competition for category 1 and 2  students, where the children dressed up as great freedom fighters and national leaders. A Patriotic Song Competition for classes 5 to 12 followed filling the auditorium with melodious voices of nationalism. The results were declared after the competition and winners were honoured with prizes. This was followed by the Prize Distribution ceremony for the Talent Search Competition for category 1 and 2. The cultural segment of the programme began with a graceful dance performance by plus one students which was warmly received by the audience. The highlights of the celebration dance performed by all the students in the  auditorium, creating an atmosphere of unity , joy and patriotism . The Independence Day Celebration came to a sweet close with the distribution of sweets to all students. On August 15th, our school students also took part in the Independence Day Rally at Angamaly in which many schools from the region participated . We are proud to announce that our school secured second prize in the rally ,bringing glory to  St.Xavier’s.nd success.
