Investiture Ceremony 2025

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2025 was held with great dignity and enthusiasm on 20th June at St. Xavier’s Public School. This solemn occasion marked the official beginning of student leadership where the newly elected leaders of the student’s council took charge with a spirit of commitment and responsibility.

The event began with a prayer dance invoking divine blessings for the leaders to guide the school community with wisdom and integrity. The Head Boy and Head Girl, adorned with their sashes, took the leadership pledge, followed by the newly appointed house Captains of the four houses- Warriors, Defenders, Challengers and Riders, promising to uphold the values and ethos of the school.

The highlight of the ceremony was the presidential address delivered by the distinguished gust Rev. Fr. Henry Babatunde Omonisaye the Vicar General of Claretians. His powerful words inspired the students to lead with humility, integrity and deep sense of responsibility.

A symbolic moment of the ceremony was the hand over of the house flags by last year’s captains to the new captains signifying the transfer of duty and legacy. The Oath taking ceremony was led by Rev. Fr. Dennis Mathew, who administered the oath to the Head boy and Head Girl and they repeated it with pride and conviction, setting the tone for the responsibility ahead.

Our respected Principal, Rev.Fr. Aneesh Kannamkunnel inspired the leaders to serve with sincerity and discipline. Our Administrator, Rev. Fr. Vinil Kurishuthara, extended his blessings and support as leaders stepped into their new roles. The ceremony was further dignified by the revered presence of Rev. Fr. Jomon Joseph.

The ceremony concluded with National anthem. We Congratulate our newly invested leaders and wish them all the best as they swore to uphold the values of St. Xavier’s with excellence and dedication.
