St Xavier’s Day

‘No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.’

St. Xavier’s Day is a significant occasion that highlights the importance of compassion and social responsibility. The day encourages students to look beyond themselves and become aware of the needs of others. With enthusiasm and a sense of purpose, Xavierans participated in this initiative by contributing useful items for those who are less fortunate.

This experience helped students understand that many basic comforts they enjoy every day are privileges not shared by everyone. The collected materials were later distributed to various orphanages and old-age homes by the students and staff of our school.

The visits provided students with meaningful interactions that nurtured empathy and understanding. By witnessing different life situations, children learned to appreciate what they have and respond to others with kindness and sensitivity. St. Xavier’s Day thus became an enriching experience, reinforcing the values of generosity, humility, and care for fellow human beings.
