Environment Day

The world environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness to take positive and constructive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth. It is a day that reminds everyone to come together to pledge towards building a greener planet. The theme for World Environment Day on 5 June 2023 focuses on solutions to plastic pollution under the campaign #BeatPlastic Pollution. Keeping this aim in view,  St. Xavier’s Public School, Peechanikkadu celebrated the World Environment Day on 5th of June 2023. A day to get involved in nature-friendly activities and towards building a green planet, our dear Manager, Rev. Fr. Jijo Machukuzhiyil, Principal, Rev. Fr. Aneesh Kannamkunnel along with the students and other staffs planted many saplings with a view to creating a green corner in the school. Awareness was effectively brought out through a strong speech and an informative quiz done by the students during school assembly.
