Our school celebrated World Environment Day with a great uproar and a spirit of environmental responsibility. The programme commenced with a prayer song, invoking blessings for a greener and healthier world. A thought-provoking poem beautifully captured the beauty of nature and the urgent need to safeguard it.
The gathering was further enriched by an insightful message by our Manager, Rev. Fr. Dennis Mathew CMF, who encouraged students to become responsible custodians of the environment through simple yet impactful actions.
A powerful mime performance and a video presentation creatively portrayed the consequences of environmental degradation, the importance of adopting eco-friendly practices, and motivated students to contribute positively towards a sustainable future.
The highlight of the celebration was the planting of saplings, symbolising hope, growth and our commitment to a greener tomorrow.
The students and staff solemnly took an Environmental Pledge, reaffirming their commitment to protecting and preserving nature.
The celebration was not merely an event but a call to action where all carried forward a message.
“SAVE NATURE, SAVE LIFE”
