INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE

Choose Life, Not Drugs.


                   Against Drug Abuse with a series of thought fully organised programs designed to educate and empower students about the dangers of drug abuse and the importance of making healthy and informed Choices.

                                       The day began with a special morning assembly focused on the theme “Say No to Drugs”. During the assembly, students actively participated in an oath taking ceremony, pledging to lead a drug free life and stand united against substance abuse.

                                      Following the assembly, an impactful orientation session was held for students from classes 5 to 12. The session was led by Sr. Arpitha CSN (Councilor). Sister emphasized the dangers of drug involvement through engaging methods that included cartoon presentation interactive activities and video clips. She defined drug abuse as the habitual use of harmful or illegal substances that can lead to addiction. Ms. Aleena joined Sr. Arpitha in addressing the students, reiterating the core message and emphasizing that community support is pivotal for prevention and rehabilitation.

                                      The entire event was held under the esteemed leadership and vision of our beloved Principal, Rev. Fr. Aneesh Kannamkunnel, whose constant encouragement and commitment to value based education continue to inspire our school community.

                                       We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated ECA teachers in charge for their active support and co-ordination in making the programme a meaningful success. 

                                        The observance of this important day served not only to educate but also to inspire every student to stand firm against drug abuse and to support one another in building a healthy and disciplined society.nd success.
