International Yoga Day 2023

Yoga is a practice that has been around for centuries and has gained immense popularity in recent times. It is not just a physical exercise, but a holistic approach to wellness and self-care. On 21st June 2023, St. Xavier’s Public School, Peechanikkadu, celebrated Yoga Day with its staff and students in complete cooperation. Rev. Fr. Jijo Machukuzhiyil the manager, in his address emphasized the importance of Yoga and physical exercises in our daily life. we have included meditation and breathing exercises in the morning assembly, as part of the celebration. Later all the students were gathered in the school auditorium and performed Warm-up exercises, sitting and standing asanas. The students were encouraged to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration.
